BAD BUDDY SERIES EP. 5

This would be my favorite scene in the whole episode. I really liked the plot about how Pat come to realize his feelings using the methods Pa told him to try on Ink.
Ohm's acting was absolutely on point. I felt that the transition from him liking Ink to Pran was a little sudden, but this scene was made well to show his feelings for Pran. In addition, the background music made my heart clench while watching it. Please tell me if you know the song title!!
Towards the latter part of the episode, it was entertaining to see how Pat wasn't jealous of the photo Pran took with his female senior, but at his friendship with Wai.
This heartwrenching scene where Pat spilled all his feelings to Pran...
I read from somewhere that you should have a song that is solely for you and your other half to relate to and seeing them create a song together is so endearing. If I were in the shoes of Pat, I would also not like it seeing my other half perform a song with others what we made it.
They kept reiterating that they were not friends but they are lonely without each other :(
OH AND Ohm looked like he wasn't going to cry, but when the single tear fell from the corner of his eyes, I could not take it anymore. This scene is sad but loving at the same time because of how they confessed their feelings.
BAD BUDDY SERIES EP. 6

In this scene, Pran was thinking back about the kiss he had with Pat. I actually do understand why he was avoiding Pat as he have seen the times when Pat went out with Ink. Perhaps he needs more time to think about their relationship.
Throughout the episode, I got the feeling that Pran wanted something more, but he knew that everything would not end well due to the dispute of their families so he would rather not start anything.
Even though Pat might appear as clingy and annoying, I really liked how he did not avoid the problem like what Pran does. He was persistent in finding out what had caused this behaviour of Pran.
Ohm portrayed this character well, showing his joy and confusion when Pran expresses his uncomfort.
This beach scene will definitely go down in GMMTV BL history.
Continuation of the kiss from the previous episode, the simplicity of their fingertips touching was enough to make me squeal. Both Pran and Pat felt something with this simple touch and you could absolutely feel the love they have for each other at that point in time.
I can't wait for the next episode to be released where they will flirt with each other!
BAD BUDDY SERIES EP. 7

Pat went into Pran's room knowing that he was in a good mood (details of the door sign!). The way that Pat knows exactly how to entertain Pran shows the closeness they have and how the makeup cleaning became their own part of the story.
It was also in this scene that Wai (again..) came to look for Pran when they were together. It was understandable that Pat was upset about Pran giving Wai the guitar he kept for Pran for such a long time. However, it was not really addressed in the next part, and Pat just oversees it which makes me think that there was a little inconsistency with the story plot at this scene.
."If my victory puts my boyfriend in trouble, I'd rather lose."
It really touches my heart to see that they have been fighting for all their lives, but Pat was willing to lose anything for the sake of Pran.
GMMTV really set the BL series standard bar high. I don't think I can get over this series when it ends :(
Side note: Please take Graph (the guy who was supposed to act in the theatre) as an educational character. Always be punctual for your schedule and keep your phone on silent mode! It is extremely rude to disrupt the talker especially when you are just a participant.
BAD BUDDY SERIES EP. 10

This was the first scene where Pat came out to his father about dating Pran. I understand how it is like to be in the heat of the moment and I absolutely admire how Pat didn't expose his dad's doings in front of the public. It actually got me wonder whether I'm too comfortable with my friends to share what's happening in my family. In Chinese, there is a saying " 家丑不可外扬" which means that family shames must not be spread abroad to other people and I think that might be the reason Pat waited until they got home to confront his dad.
"Everyone wants the truth. Now that you all know, why can't you take it?"
I felt that this was a sentence that got me thinking quite deeply. For instance, why ask something knowing well that the answer might not be what you are looking for?
Pran mentioned how it wasn't his duty to be responsible for his mom's feelings. In other scenarios I would have strongly disagreed with the concept as I think as a child, we are always under the care of our parents and it is only right that we think about them in every step of our life. However, I understand how much Pran has suffered all these years, hating someone without even knowing the reason. It takes a huge amount of effort to hate someone and have hatred constantly engraved in your mind.
In addition, Pran also mentioned that he was able, to tell the truth (of him dating Pat) while his own mother wasn't able to (Pat's dad stealing her scholarship). Perhaps it was her being in a constant state of denial, or perhaps she felt that it was embarrassing to have someone step over her like that. Speaking up takes courage and that is not possessed at birth. We learn from our own experiences and obtain this courage to be able to speak for ourselves, or even greater, the society.
"He can't fix his past, and I must be the one that takes it, right?"
I think the one big general concept being delivered in this series is about how Pat and Pran are constantly living in the shadows of their parent's hatred, and it is simply unfair for them. I feel that one generation's issue should not influence the next generation's as they have their own right to live without being influenced by family matters.
Ohm also showed us how broken Pat must have felt fighting his whole life against Pran, just to know the truth is about his dad stealing Pran's mom's scholarship. If you were to ask me, it is kind of silly that they have years of hatred because of a scholarship. With the skills that you have to be able to win competitions, I do not think that Pran's mom would be incapable of getting another scholarship with her own abilities.
BAD BUDDY SERIES EP. 12 (FINAL)

GMMTV cheated our feelings so much in this episode. :')
This scene was such an emotional roller coaster. The way Pat and Pran constantly staring at each other after years of separation (or so we thought..)
Looking back, you can really see how they became friends, and gradually, became 2 people who can't be just friends.
It was really heartwarming to see all the small details from previous episodes being portrayed here.
"Just like Uncle Tong said, we might not be able to change the people around us, but they couldn't change the two of us either."
I think at a deeper level, it implies to all of us that we should do what we want, and not what others want us to do. Even if the small actions we do are unable to change the whole world, it is what keeps us going at the end of the day.
Bad Buddy Series was really well-made.
I have had my expectations on it but I felt that this made the BL standards so high. It's a series filled with emotions and learning points. I know I should not compare between the series, but this is really on a level with Theory of Love. However, BBS contained more entertaining factors which made the supposed dark, intense plot livelier.
I'd definitely be sad because this is what always keeps me going for the week for the past 12 weeks. I am hopeful that GMMTV will produce more series of such high quality.
Thank you Ohm and Nanon for playing the role of Pat and Pran respectively. If it was anyone else, I am certain that they will not have the same chemistry.
